Pysanki Production (Fall, 2006)

My wife has begun this season of pysanki production. Traditionally, it is done in the Lenten period, but she has to start much earlier to make all the eggs she needs. She just finished a workshop for the Louisiana Art Teachers Association which was a big hit. The workshop will result in this extraordinary art form being diffused all over the state of Louisiana. Nicole, my wife, hates it when I use these photos, but I can't resist.
