Citizens is a 2004 work that is dear to my heart. I worked on it non-stop fourteen hours a day for eight days, and have not had the drive to tackle one of this size and complexity since. I am posting this for the first time today in honor of my friend, Scott Cox, who died yesterday. A dump truck ran over him while he and another friend of mine were working on the brakes. The friend didn't know he was under the truck, and rolled it backwards to complete the brake work. Scott leaves behind a wife and three children, and will be missed. He owned his own contracting service, so there is no workman's comp. I would like to help the family - so any purchases of the original or prints will be shared with the family.
