What was I going for? I don't know. I was sitting at a Big Boy with my sketchbook, and the waitresses came over and asked me to draw for them. One wanted a Big Boy drawing, the other just "something weird." This is the result of that "something weird" request. I thought it'd work good in black and white.

Awesome and so surreal. I love children's books with characters like this. Chris Van Allsburg who wrote Jumangi and many others and the author of Tuesday, David Weisner who illustrated wonderful children's books have a simular style. You do "weird" very well!!heliopo Heliopo 05 Sep 2006
