Incredible it is still there from the 1800's - can you imagine what has crossed - very cool - thanks for sharing!

Artist Reply: it is great that it has been preserved by relocating it over Hickory Creek in Denton County; now it only gets foot traffic and maybe a little bicycle traffic...there is a woodland trail starting next to the bridge too

Artist Reply: thanks very much; we are so lucky to live close to this preserved old bridge; there is a trail too that goes down through the woods along the creek; I have more shots of this bridge taken recently that haven't been posted yet :)
