Tide's Out

SLS049. "Tide's Out" 36" x 24" framed oil on stretched canvas, © 2005 by Marcia L. Wilson. It's unusual not to see herons on Tillamook Bay. Five rivers empty into this estuary, home to salmon, oysters, clams, cormorants and pelicans as well as the herons. Also known as Murderers' Bay by the Euros who first visited this area and met with resistance from the natives.
