love it, sweeps away the cotton booties and rocking cribs perception of motherhood and cuts to the reality of pregnancy and motherhood for me. Fantastic.

I really like this piece except for the plant thing or female anatomy in the bottom right hand corner.

Artist Reply: In my mind this area is the female anatomy, my sisters, but to see it, there is no clear way to know, if its a male or female. In this work, for me, it is dealing with the development of a kidney. My sister went to the hospital to have her many kidney stones removed, and after going back for her check up they multiplied. Some people, I see, do art for simple and happy reasons, which is great. But thats not why I create. Thank you for the comment. You were able to connect with this piece, but do you know why you dont like it? There may be an unconscious reason you dont like that part, and to me for you, it is worth figuring out.
