I wanted to create a healing hand for a friend of mine who is a masseuse. A butterfly in the hand I felt was a beautiful symbol, for my friend has butterfly hands - healing hands...The colors came out vibrantly and I love the lively reds and oranges and yellows against the cooling, healing colors of the hand...I meditated on healing powers and the healing power of the hand and the hope the butterfly symbolizes for so many.
