Penobscot Bay

Watercolour on 150grm coton paper, painted from a photo in Wet Canvas, with permission. It measures roughly 13x9 inches. Copyright © Steph Salt This painting has also been donated to raise funds. This time it was to raise funds for a holiday home for children, when they and their parents badly need a break. My son was hyper active, and wearing me out to the bone, when a place was found for him one year. I missed him all the time he was gone, but it made me appreciate him all the more.

spring must be on the way!

Artist Reply: It must be John, well it is here any way, our trees are now full of blossom and the others are all begining to come into full leaf. Don't you just love this time of year.

Nice colour scheme and depth. It seems that you are back in force with watercolours, or is it just an impression? ;-)

Artist Reply: Just an impression Greg, and I hope to keep giving the impression as well LOL! Thanks for the lovely comment *Hugs!*

There is a beautiful depth in the image. You are very good in drawing trees.

Artist Reply: Thank you Anneke. I supose it shows that I enjoy drawing or painting the bare bones of a tree, my problem is with the foliage LOL!
