Survivors - An explosion of cherry blossom

I wasn't able to talk to these two old ladies at a park near the Atomic Bomb Museum in Nagasaki City, Kyushu, Japan. I don't know if they were anywhere near Nagasaki at the time of the atomic bomb - or if they are even Japanese... Anyhow, they look old enough to have been around for the last 60-odd years and they certainly looked and acted like Japanese. Whatever... I find this image with the cherry tree in full bloom - seemingly errupting from beneath the ground - an extremely powerful image...

I think this is GREAT!!! I love to see this kind of work. It holds so much meaning and a world of feeling. Survivors all Three!!! Yes...I include the tree...bless them all, all trees human or natural. Excellent shot!!! Have a GREAT Day Victor!
