Excellent portrait..Yes! all there...Like we are the mirror she looks into...behind the hidden glass. I like the way you have her putting her eye makeup on...even the eyelid is raised as when one actually does apply the it! this says so much about the human thought process and the way we try to present ouselves to others in order to appear more lovely ...Reminds me of the words from a song..."The things we do for Love!!" Very thought provoking work...You have an excellent style too.
Artist Reply: thank you so much! This is actually a self-portrait...i get up extra early each morning just so I have enough time to put on my make-up, otherwise I am uncomfortable! I carry it with me everywhere too...so it is a very real self portrait and is a portrayal of an everyday event in my life
