Woman Rabbi Raises up the Torah during services. This act of Raising the Torah up is called "Hagba" in Hebrew. Very small miniature mostly acrylic painting with graphite used for the eyeglasses. On wood, the frame is painted on. Ready to hang. 5766/2006 sold

Excellent work again Adelle. I love the simplicity in this one and agree about the Folk Art quality - the leaves gives it a warmth and round edges to balance the straight edges...awesome balance in color too!!
