Iron Fist

Original Size: approximately 10" x 15" This is a sample piece I did using Marvel Comic's martial arts hero Iron Fist. The main character in the story aquired the power of the legendary Iron Fist by conquering and taking the fiery heart of a mystical dragon. When he calls this power to aid him, his fist glows and charges up to make for one devasting punch!

So cool. the face is a little bit old-age i think.

Artist Reply: Thanks so much! Glad you notice his 'aged' look, too! I wanted him to look a little 'wrinkled' and worn in this picture. I was thinkin' along the lines of an older Iron Fist who has been through a lot of challenges and trials...

Iron Fist one of my Favorites (Especially from the Byrne's era) Even the Background colors add much to this image of Power and Fury!! (Where is the other picture!??!?.. Luke Cage, Powerman his once partner) This is excellent!!!

Artist Reply: Thanks! I did this Iron Fist solo because I had a few issues of his Silver Age series before he partnered with Power Man (I used them as a reference point; not in art but story & theme...). But they both make a great team (and I love their Byrne era issues, too...!)and I definitely want to do my interpretation of Luke Cage!!!
