So I took my time doing my next piece, go figure. I wanted to do curly hair...and I definately did curly hair. Somehow I did another fairy, can't help it I've always loved fairy and unicorn art...my 3rd attempt at watercolor, I'd say I'm getting better...I tried to stay away from the white acrylic paint, I did pretty good at that. I only used it as touch ups, and lining etc. This is done in water color, dabs of acrylic paint, a few dabs of prismacolor marker, and a little colored pencil, and inked in micron pen and black acrylic paint. The hair took forever...I kid you not 3/4 of this was hair...not to mention inking the hair. I like this one despite it's quircks....first her neck is too long for her pose, and her foot is missing on the back leg. The hair...I look at it and I hate it...its too curly and looks like dread locks. Then I look at it and think its great...reminds me of a doll, or angel. Ever felt that way about something. Also...I love her eyes, I tried a slightly different style, and those green eyes look great with the purple shadow...maybe that's why my eyes look greener when I wear purple shadow? Also, I tried to make this darker and gothic, but I don't think the gothic came out at all...Anyhow, let me know what you think...this one was tough.
