Hiwatari Kai G-Rev III

Another one of Hiwatari Kai from Aoki Takao's BeyBlade G-Revolution (3rd and final season). It's the last large pencil version of a small screen cap this month, cause I'm not a Premium Member so... Hope this month's images are enjoyable!

Just curious...are you drawing from a picture you are looking at, and drawing that, or just referencing with pictures? I'm asking b/c of the difference of these and some other portfolio images...even if you are "copying" a picture...I think it is an important part of learning...and trains us to "see" Lovely shading. Nice use of pencil and ink. Some nice line work...though I think you can be braver with it...but overall, a very nicely done piece. The shading, balance... just nice.

Artist Reply: Yup, I am drawing from a small picture. All should be explained in the image information, I think. I'm glad you like the shading cause that was what I was practising ^_^
