My First Digital Eye!

This one will be removed if I draw much this month that I want on my portfolio as well, but I really want to know what you guys think of the style, cause I'm a bit of trying to make eyes (for the comic I'm working at, it isn't online yet). So, what do you think? ^^

I like the plain backgrd...no shading just one solid color...unigue and original concept...I like the way you made the eye that brilliant agua it is set off nicely by the muted brown tone...this is a very good style...not like anyone else and that is fantastic too. You got your message across without all the clutter I admire that skill. Great Luna! Love to see some more. When you have time, of course.
