Like the cover of a Science Fiction novel, there is an apocalyptic feel, but the boy and the plant have an emotive touch. I like it.

Artist Reply: I wanted to use a really bright artificial pallete to signify a chemical man made disaster so I started with turquoise and green, but I changed it to this really (over?) saturated hot-tangerine colours instead. The city in the background started out non-derelict, but I realised that I ought to blow holes and knock a few buildings over for that historical apocalypitical flavour that I love so much.
