This is my friend Jennifer's Little Yorkshire Terrier, Jason. He's her pride and joy, and so ... She commisioned me to paint him for her. She also commented on the rough sketch that I drew on the canvas as a guide to paint him. Below is what she said. ( I have to tell you that your sketch looks much better than the original photograph ! You have managed to capture his personality, even the way he was wanting so badly to eat the flowers ! (later he did) lol Can't wait to see this finished and hang it in a place of honor in my house. Many many thanks from me, Jason and...warning, Kristofer and Chestnut are next ! ) After reading it I was going to title the painting Jason Versus the Geraniums ... But he hadn't started his war against them as of yet, so I changed it to Jason and the Geraniums. This is a digital photo of the finished piece. I'll scan the painting in a few days and change it to the clearer image ... I also will upload a photo of it in the frame I'll get for it. I hope Jen likes it.
