Love your feltwork Nira! I have a friend that raises lamas. Would that work? Do you have to do something to the wool before you make the felt?

Artist Reply: Artist Reply: Shalom Diana, As far as I know there R several kinds of sheep that u can use their fibers to make a felt...not all though can be use ,or good enough for ART.I buy the fibers already clean & dyed ,after chemical processes ready to use for art...or making felt.I think as for the experience of making felt,U probably can try for a start working with Lama's fibers.Try to look for good sources of info/explanations over the net, perhaps U find a site explasining the whole process...and the materials also...I remember I once saw such site...google search.THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS.

Your felt work always amazes me. I realize the effort it takes for you to make your peices too. Wonderful!
