The Kendalls

14x17 Colored Pencil on 100# Bristol paper. Pencils used almost in their entirety were - Prismacolor Verithin Sienna and Prismacolor Sanguine. The Primacolor Verithin seemed to blend pretty well - but I had to deal with a lot of 'rocks' in the lead, which was frustrating at times. It was an experience working with a different medium instead of the graphite pencil and trying to get the same effect. Thanks to Christina Toews, Steph Salt, Ed Hicks, Denny Karchner, Robyn Henzel and Martha Yokawonis whom all made great suggestions when I took on the project!! This was a commissioned portrait by a very loving and giving couple! THANKS!
