The Spirit of Existence

In this recent acrylic painting (large 3 feet by 4 feet) i place my face in the center of the work but create a world of insects, animals, and landscapes that surround my face and actually become one with my face. I have placed hidden whales, snakes, and other animals around the stone walls, fences, and overall landscape. My face in the center becomes a structure like a mountain or housing structure that melds into everything around it. I wanted to convey my love of life and the universe in a surreal abstract interpretation. Again, my camera is not getting these sharp enough. I will upload a sharper image soon. I found it interesting and fascinating. The element of life nature, the richness and complexity. It also give me a perspective of far I have to go. Fascinating and amazing piece. It allows me to dream even more

Your ideas for paintings are so unique. I love the mixture of content and color of your work!

It is obvious that you are a very spiritual individual. This painting is the visual realization of Gaia theory.

Love this one. Like the Escher type staircases sometimes leading to dead ends. Just like real life! The walls seem to form a barrier between you and the material world, but I see there's a ladder which can be used to climb over the wall. And confront................What???? Very provocative image!
