Junior Kimbrough...perhpas the most underrated bluesman of our time. His music breaks my heart, ever see a big guy cry?! If haven't heard his blues go out and get You Better Run: the Essential Junior Kimbrough, it will floor you...oil, charcoal on burlap, 39.5" x 48", much more raw and freestyle than J.C., I wasn't too comfortable with this palette, cad. red, white, and pthalo blue are my safety net

Cos' you can't hide...........! Blue for the bluesman. Great colour! It's worked well. The blue colour gives the portrait that highly charged, electric feel. Great! I'm afraid I don't know JK I';m a Cannonball Adderley and Weather Report person myself. Sooo antique!Juan Gomez 14 Feb 2005
