The Mechanics of Consciousness

In this work i wanted to convey in my own surreal interpretation the workings and results of our conscious awareness of the world and our responsibilities in the cultivation and progress of the planet. I show a silhouette of a face that actually forms a tunnel entrance and 3 brains are growing up from the ground on stems. If you look closely the 3 brains are turned right, left, and right and form a snake like organism with fangs. This actually represents the evil we can spread around the world if we make bad conscious decisions regarding the economy, growth, technology, and the consequences of all these elements for good or for bad. As the brains grow from the ground stems also reach and sprout out from beneath the land and hands begin to interact on the surface. I show chains that represent the workings of industry and technology. I also show a hand holding a flower in the brain which is the hope that conscious responsibility will prevail over bad decisions. Drawn in and mesmerised by the myriad wanton images produced by your ever moving pencils. Fantastic.

My dear Justin! With all of these marvelous images spinning around in your brain, it is a wonder that you can walk upright with your feet squarely on the ground! Fantastic!
