16"by20" Colored Pencil on Watercolor Canvas. My first attempt at colored Pencil and All I had was Canvas.I have a lot of respect for Colored Pencil Artists NOW!!! The background is Acrylics.

This is a nice, friendly portrait. Perfection is not the goal. It should appeal to someone who does not know the subject. It's nice to integrate the background into the portrait to tell the viewer something about the subject and the artist.

its amazing how this has a look of watercolour or an acrylic washed effect : ) and yes, i have been burning the candle at both ends..my life is chaotic at times...so no, i didnt forget you big fella.. lovely work Earl..
