Margaret Hassan (Sacrificial Lamb) 2004 (Gifted)

Margaret Hassan devoted her life to helping the people of Iraq. She was slaughtered by terrorists who snuffed out a life which had contributed so much to so many. Indeed, in war, it is the innocent who suffer. (First Prize, Contemporary Art Guild of Central Louisiana, 2005) I gave this painting to Mark Landreneau, a friend of my son who admired my work.

I agree with Juan Gomez. It is indeed a wonderful tribute to this gentle lady who sacrificed herself for others. A beautiful painting David. It would make a lovely stained glass window.

Excellent tribute to a woman who offered her-self and talents to help others in great need to make this a world a better place to live..a terrible tragedy to to all quality people wo bring health and well-being. Great painting also very sad.
