I came up with the sketch before starting this piece, as I usually do. On the suggestion of a friend, I modified the piece, simplifying it a bit. This medium is new to me so I'm still learning. I used the same formula with slight modifications that I used for 'The Dreamer.' It stands 12.5 inches tall and is roughly 5 inches wide toward the bottom. We all play the marble game, I think. How many of us have been blackballed in our lives? How many times have we received the white ball of permission or approval? Of course, the idea of 'losing one's marbles' also comes into play here as well. Is this Original Jones Art? Well, it isn't your Aunt Nellie's jelly rolls though I did use a cup of flour here in Austin, TX. Addendum: This piece was chosen to be in the 2018 AVAA's Christmas or 12BUY12 show.

Cool both, the 3D and doodle!

Artist Reply: Thanks, Nikolay! This piece was in the Christmas show this last December. I think it was either the second or third piece I made using my ever evolving compound. :)
