Artist Reply: Artist Reply: Here's a little insight to who she was: Arrived here in 1909 at 19 years of age. Taught herself english, became a citizen and raised two children. Her son died in WWII and her daughter was my Mom. She weathered an abusive, drunk husband but maintained her faith in God. You're very right, she was a woman of character, thank you
