Resolute is a strong word and it takes strength, both physical and mental, to give it justice in one's life, especially in these trying times. I have always been single-minded and, for the most part, unwavering---at the very least determined---but it is a difficult thing to maintain when age begins to weaken the will and dim the vision. It is not a happy road to take alone but some things are attained only through the rigor of running counter to the the majority and because of this, one gains a better understanding of self as steadfast and constant companion. This is a 16 by 20 inch acrylic on 1.5 inch deep stretcher bars. It is the latest product of my undying resolve and is Original Jones Art in its purest form. Though it originated in Austin, Texas, it could as easily been created in Syria or Peru.
