Termite Territory

Termite Territory. Completed 2009. (Self taught I had only been painting for 4 months). Boab trees, Termite mounds, native kapok and Brolgas wading between the Water lilies. Artist Reply: Hello Sigridur! Thank you so much for taking an interest in my art and for your kind comments. You are right, the Kimberley region of Australia is very similar to the Kimberlies of Africa. We have the Boab tree and they have the Baobab tree. We have Diamond mining and so do they :-)
