The castle of Neuschwanstein in the snow

(In English: "New Swanstone Castle). A 19th-century Romanesque Revival palace on a rugged of the village Hohenschwangau near Füssen in south-west Bavaria (Germany). The castle was commissioned by Ludwig II as a retr eat and as homage to Richard Wagner. More than 1.3 million people visit the castle annually. Rumours go that Walt Disney was inspired by this castle when he designed the castle of Snow White. Image size: 260 x 360 mm
