This piece is the third in the series of Galena, Illinois antique door handles that I have done. This is one of the most ornate handles and suggests why this piece is entitled "Art in Hand". This colored pencil painting was based on my own photograph and the painting was done on museum quality Grafix drafting film using Farber-Castell Polychromos pencils. The size of this artwork is 10 X 14 inches.
