Framed, oil on canvas. The reason for this title: I was looking up at this grand building thinking how massive it looks from my earthly perspective. If we were to see the same building from an airplane if would seem small and insignificant. Compare this to the human ego, our earthly perspective of ourselves... a person may think too highly of their capabilities, intelligence, actions. Here's an example: an ordinary artist (like myself) is praised for their amazing accomplishments...but in reality compared to the big picture these skills would not compare to an artist like Michelangelo. When I look at this building it reminds me of the facade many of have, we think its grand, but in reality when you see the big picture, it's really not that amazing as we may think.
