I drew two figures on stickies months back and rather liked the sculptural quality they had. These drawings have become the basis for what might be considered a series of eggman (eggmen?) pieces. This is a 16 by 12 inch acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas. More of that yolk-filled Original Jones Art from Austin, Texas.

quality work

Artist Reply: Thank you, Charles! I keep plugging away at it. I may do another in this series, if I can come up with a good drawing. Trouble with my process, I have to draw it without trying too hard or it shows. My strange psyche. Hope you are doing well and enjoying life. :)

Has the look of contemplation.

Artist Reply: Or constipation maybe? :) Hope you are doing great, Stan. I'm merely doing what I can...

Nice eyes!

Artist Reply: When I did the quick sketch that became the inspiration for this piece, the little bird eyes perched on top really made this work---at least for me. Hope you are doing great, John, and having a creative time where you are. Thanks! :)

FABULOUS CREATIVE WORK, CHARLES, REMINDS ME OF PICASSO AND OF DALI.

Artist Reply: My personal symbology differs from either of those guys. Picasso was all about the human figure though he did bend it around quite a bit. Dali was a classically trained painter who embraced surrealism. I'm not a surrealist nor classically trained. Both were great self-promoters; I'm not that either, darn the luck! Thanks for the nice comment, Sharon. :)
