THE BIG GAME

This is the third painting I have done depicting a winter scene in Northern Ontario. It was intentionally painted with the focal point the young boys playing hockey. This painting is to be auctioned at the Conn Smythe Celebrity Dinner in Toronto in February. The proceeds will go towards the Easter Seals Society.

This is what i used to do as a kid on the ponds and rivers in the coldest days of winter in Toronto - you've captured my boyhood passions and rivaliries - it was always us against the hated Habs - though "The Rocket" was my heor. We would play until we couldn't see the puck any more. This holds the joy i remeber - wonderful
