This piece comes with an interesting side note, I think. I had a bad bout of vertigo last Sunday evening just as my son and I sat down to eat and watch a movie. It lasted some little time and afterwards I put myself in a horizontal position for awhile. I eventually finished the meal and the movie and immediately afterwards began this piece without a pre-sketch. My son walked by later that night and commented that it looked like me just after the episode. At any rate, working on it made me feel the least bit better. This is a 20 by 24 inch acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas. Original Jones Art? Yes, I'd take that bet.

You have a very strange world Charles.

Artist Reply: My world is, I think, the same as everyone's; I just project it via the prism of self, Daniela. I think you, if anyone, can understand that. :)

What causes vertigo? Low blood pressure? High blood pressure? Fear of walking a tightrope? Or does it feel like your walking a tightrope? I like the calliedescope eyes and use of color.

Artist Reply: Mine is of the incredibly fast room spinning variety, Stanley. Dr. couldn't find the root cause; it's probably all just in my head, so to speak. ;)Hate it though. Thanks for the nice comment.

god for you...beautiful work...

Artist Reply: Thank you so much, Maria! I told an old friend whom I now communicate with infrequently that my art is what sustains me nowadays. I think that because it is exclusive and internal rather than external and generic. Hope you've had a great Christmas and are looking forward to a great New Year. :)
