This colored pencil painting is based on a photograph that I took as the sun was setting. I was drawn by the beautiful sky and how the birds seemed to also be admiring it. This piece was done on Dura-lar polyester film using Faber-Castell polychromos pencils. The dimensions of this piece is 8 inches X 12 inches. I hope that you enjoy this view as much as the birds that are an important part of the piece. Thank you all for looking.

I like the contrast in this... the hidden life... almost monochromatic but not. Very nice work...
