Forever Legend

Legendary Czech ice hockey national team coach who won the historical first professional Olympic tournament in Nagano '98 as a Head coach, to follow up with Gold Medal from the World Championships '99, to be added to his 3 gold medals as a player and Captain in the 70's in the best Czechoslovakian Tam of the era. Certainly one of the biggest persons in the game. One season coached Pittsburgh Penguins too, beside Herb Brooks, to later take over as a Head Coach. But NHL was never his Cup Of Tea as he was too much of an old wolf to transform styles. In 76 he made it to the finals in the Canada Cup. In 2004 He was offered a job as a Head Coach of The National Team again, but before the season even started, on 16 of August 2004, he died in car accident. In 2002 his name was forever engraved in the IIHF Hall Of Fame
