The is page 5 of the graphic novel that I started while I was still a university biology professor. I'm looking for an effective way to end it in a realistic way that will educate and perhaps help other smokers in some way. Perhaps I will have my lead character rekindle his artistic dreams and write a graphic novel about his experiences!

Great way of telling the story, awesome cartoon work.

Artist Reply: Jane: thanks so much. I do believe that a picture is worth lots of words. I enjoy doing this type of work, but it really is work! I have not yet decided how to end this work with a somewhat uplifting ending. One day I will find what I'm looking for, I hope. This media is a powerful way to educate. My background prior to retirement was as a University biology professor for 31 years. I used drawings similar to these in many of my classes. Not all focused on lung cancer and smoking. Thanks again for stoping by. Best regards, Will

Very creative and original work!!! Congratulations Will.

Artist Reply: Angel: thank you very much. It's still a work in progress and I admit that I have not sat down to work on pages for quite some time. I hope that ideas are fermenting in my mind that will inspire me to finish this work. Best regards, Will

You are doing a great job, Will !!!

Artist Reply: Maire-Claire: thanks so much. I have not worked on the graphic novel for quite awhile now. It seems more like actual work to compose the story line and to render images to complement the words than to just sit at my work table and paint using my colored pencils! Perhaps I'm lazy! Best regards, Will
