I am sure all of you my friends remember my Photograph of Roxy Titled, "Dressed Up for Daddy". What I didn't mention at the time except to Marie-Claire was that Roxy just had an operation for Cancer a week or two earlier. As I mentioned my Best friend Mark was away for six months helping his daughter with a serious situation while I watched Roxy. Shortly after her operation Mark was able to return home. He and Roxy were reunited and it was a very special and happy day. When Roxy saw her "Daddy" Mark she was running all around him so very happy to see him. It was so funny to see her reaction. Mark had Roxy for nine plus years since she was a puppy. Within one month of her operation and removal of the tumor a second tumor grew back as it was a very fast growing cancer. Mark took her for a second operation and now within weeks of the operation it has grown back and Roxy is not doing well and is in pain. So today Monday August 11, 2014 Mark has to do the saddest thing I can think of and take her to be put to sleep. Mark has done all he could for her but he won't let her suffer. I'm sorry to share such sad news but I wanted my good friends to know.
