Cocoon (possibly praying mantis egg case) nestled amongst the golden orbs of Western Soapberries, a common tree at Hagerman NWR in Grayson County, Texas. Mainly a tree of the southwest, soapberries are used for washing in Mexico. Some native tribes used the wood for arrows and basket weaving.
