Bruce, this has absoluely dynamic and beautiful colors. This is a beautiuf painting.

A little secret, just between us: When I posted this I immediately felt that the Detail was much better -- a stronger painting for being more intense by leaving no extra space, compared with the top one. Whadda you think? I'm come to like both now, but almost two very different views, two different paintings. Anyway, thank you again for this comment, as well as so many other appropriate remarks. I see hands stretched out. I'm wondering if they are from the poor victims that suffered under the crusades, calling for mercy. Or are they the oppressing hands of the crusaders? In fact it's a very topical painting, crusades are still going on nowadays. There will always be people that want to force others to think like them. I love how you executed the theme, Bruce. It shows emotion and empathy.
