Ghost Stars by K. Henderson, 30 x 24, oil on linen This Plains Indian wears eagle feathers in his hair to show the many honors he has won. His buckskin shirt is beaded and is painted as a Ghost Shirt would be painted. He carries a shield and is draped with a trade blanket. The stripe on his face represents tears for the fallen warrior.
