All the time I was growing up, my sister taunted me. Saying what an advantage it was to be a "she" instead of an "he". Little girls could paint pictures on paper and bake and sew. They could make music and poems and dance on a toe. While all that boys could do was to make a mess and run and throw. Then we went camping and that's when it came to me that little boys, and big men too, need only to find a private tree! Poem by Richard Zuspan and painting by Ginger Lovellette. Acrylic on canvas.
