Nineteenth Century Whaling

Williamsburg, Virginia, USA, 2012. Canvas stretched on wooden frame, 16.5" x 20," abstract, acrylic. Suggested objects: tail end of diving whale, two or more boats breaking up, feeling of struggle, noise, fight for life by all, ironic beautifully colored and designed scene for canvas filled with violence.

Bruce, this is very powerful work. I wish that the horror would end too. The colors in this are vibrant and full of energy.
