View of Stramberk (Czech Republic) 2004

A sunny wall dominates this picture of the village of Stramberk in Northeastern Moravia. My wife and I spent a wonderful week there learning Czech folk dances with the Jitka Bonusova and her group (Dvorana). The painting (16 x 20 in.) will be auctioned off for the Louisiana Czech Heritage Museum.

When I look at your painting I can feel the sun beating down on this town, and yet cannot see it.
