This is the doocot - or dovecot - to the east of Berwick Law, the strangely shaped hill that stands alone in a largely flat landscape, just by North Berwick on Scotland's east coast. On the top of the Law there is a whale's jawbone - or it might be a replica these days. Low November sun from the south seems to lift this one a bit.
