Autumn is fast approaching and just as we begin to bring out our warm and cozy clothes so do the little fairies settle into their cozy dens to sleep the cold nights away. In this painting this lovely little summer fairy has prepared for the long winter nights in a den of Autumn leaves, acorns and ripe picked berries. Her sleepy eyes an indication that she’s ready for her long slumber only to awaken in late Spring and start the cycle all over again. A celebration of my favorite season, Autumn, this painting is packed with beautiful fall colors, rich and full of color, the scan/picture couldn’t capture the intense tones in this painting.
