Koalas in a Tree Painting

This is a sculpted and painted acrylic painting of a koala mother and her child in a tree. I painted my backyard for the background.

Hello Linda.. Great composition cute.. and then i will say there is someting not too natural in the branches of this tree too straight... As for your comment, i thank you... i hope you allow me free creativity and the choice to choose in my own artwork.... Anyway... This was done from a specific photo.. There is no Red in our plant... and about the angles.. there are all the direction as seen... If you prefer photorealism in art... Sorry dear...There is no need for any critic no more...

Artist Reply: Thank you. This was a sculpted painting of a koala and I agree what it is hanging onto looks stiff. The inspiring image was from the koala in a zoo with artificial tree. I really like your paintings and your fantastic sense of design and vibrant colors. Did not mean to offend you, just trying to be helpful. Trumpet vines are among my favorites and hummingbirds like them, too. Your artwork is wonderful.

It's gorgeous! I love the textures on it!

Artist Reply: Thank you for the wonderful compliment. I spent a lot of time on the textures, but it was worth it.
