Poissons Volants: Le Poisson-Lion

Part of my "Poissons Volants" series ("Flying Fish)" - combining my love with sea creatures and Rococo era portraiture - "Le Poisson-Lion" (the lionfish) features one of the most delicate and dangerous sea creatres! With beautiful stripes and fluttering fins that already look a lot like wings, it was an obvious choice to include a lionfish piece in my Poissons Volants series with the addition of some beautiful butterfly wings! The maiden in this piece is a little sultry, and definitely gorgeous!
