Touch down in color

Times and years have pas us by
remembering the time that we had.
Playing around with the things we had found,
a Tele was few that it had.

Soccer I played and girls all around,
were skipping or kicking a stone.
Kicking it into the field they had set,
with chalk lines or lines of some coal.

An invasion of Mars and the entire world
was listening on tube radio.
Today it is normal we fly everywhere
To places we wanted to go.

Time that has passed, but will never be gone,
Is there in our mind to remember.
The era we’re in, made so much to learn,
even might later stop in December.

The clock of the Maya’s is ticking ahead,
I hope that we’re ready in time.
But remember the words, such I always have written,
crossed all to myself… in my mind.

What a fantastic image Ben ! I love both version with a small preference for the one in color and superb words too. Very creative work !!

Artist Reply: Thank you for your nice words Françoise. It is strange that the preferance goes to the colored one. I also needed to decide and could not. So final I put up both :) When you would see the real size of 6000x4000 it wold be more difficult...
