It's Lilac Time! Photo

I look forward to spring when a large lilac bush blooms and sends its joyful scent of heavenly perfume to anyone passing by. It's a wonderful time to sit in the yard. Wish they bloomed longer. In the summer there are the summer lilac, or butterfly bush, with an intoxicating exotic scent that attracts butterflies.

Artist Reply: Thanks. I wish lilacs bloomed for months instead of what seems like only a week. Every time I passed this bush I would inhale its fragrance and feel happy.
